Oil tank relocation –  Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

can be a challenging process, and it requires careful planning and execution. At our company, we received a call from a customer who wanted to expand his garden, and in the process, he needed to relocate his oil tank. As a result, we were tasked with removing the old tank and installing a new one in a new location that was both convenient and compliant with regulations.

Before we began any work, we assessed the situation and consulted with the client to determine the best possible location for the new tank. We needed to ensure that the new location would meet all safety and regulatory requirements while also being practical for the customer’s needs. After discussing the options with the client, we agreed on a new location, and the work began.

The first step was to create a new concrete base for the tank to sit on, as the old base was not suitable for the new location. We excavated the area and levelled the ground before pouring the concrete. The base was allowed to dry before we began the next phase of the project.

The next step was to dig a trench for the new oil line, which would connect the new tank to the heating system. We made sure to dig the trench to the correct depth and install marker tape to indicate the location of the oil line. Once the trench was prepared, we laid the oil line and made sure it was secure and correctly positioned.

After the concrete base was dry and the oil line was laid, we installed the new tank in its new location. We then transferred the fuel from the old tank to the new one, using specialized equipment to ensure that the process was safe and efficient. Once the fuel transfer was complete, we connected the new tank to the boiler and checked for any leaks in the connections.

Finally, we tested the heating system to ensure that it was functioning correctly, and that the new tank was working efficiently. We took the time to explain to the customer how the new system worked and answered any questions he had. We also provided him with information on how to maintain the new tank and heating system to ensure its longevity.

In conclusion, relocating a tank can be a complicated process that requires careful planning and execution. At our company, we take great care to ensure that the work we do is both safe and efficient. In this particular project, we worked with the client to determine the best possible location for the new tank, prepared the area and installed the new tank, and ensured that everything was working correctly before leaving the site. We take pride in our work and strive to provide the highest quality service to our customers
